[326/365] Happy New Year!, Fireworks, Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

So, this is officially my last post and photo of 2010. I didn't quite reach 365, but I think I came pretty close. I can't believe I continued it for most of the year! Just hard playing catch up when you sometimes skip a couple days. Anyway, 2010 has been a decent year I'd say. Mostly goods, some not so goods. I've met a lot of new people and continued and strengthened great friendships. I got to see a lot of the world and I'm happy to get the opportunity to do it.

I told myself though, that 2011 and my year of 26 will be my year of change. I have a couple of new years resolutions, but I'll keep those to myself. I hope that one year from today, I will be able to post and talk about everything that has changed in my life, and reflect on great experiences and having great friends and family.

Thanks for following my photo diary as I go through the year of 2010. I will be starting over at photo 1/365 tomorrow. Hope everyone has a very happy new year. Please stay safe and have fun! :)

"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power."

[325/365] Reflections in the Water, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California, USA

Tranquility.

[324/365] Victorian Houses, Alamo Square, San Francisco, California, USA

Another view of the Victorian houses by Alamo Square, with a gray cloud looming above. Overall, it was actually a really nice, clear day!

[323/365] Union City Historical Museum, Union City, California, USA

Always passed by the museum, but never went in. I was kind of curious, so we stopped by for a bit... Never thought I'd ever go to a museum for Union City! Haha

[322/365] Southwest Plane, Los Angeles International Airport, LAX, Los Angeles, California, USA

An all too familiar sight of looking out the window as I leave LAX. This time, it was a rainy morning.

[311/365] Victorian Houses Across From Alamo Square, San Francisco, California, USA

All I can think of is Full House when I see these Victorian houses by Alamo Square. Lovely!

[310/365] Bay Bridge, San Francisco, Oakland, California, USA

I love how the Bay Area has so many bridges! I think the Bay Bridge between San Francisco and Oakland is my favorite based strictly on aesthetics.

[309/365] Baggage Claim, Sacramento International Airport (SMF), Sacramento, California, USA

On my journey back up north this week, I flew into Sacramento's airport where Myley picked me up and we drove to the Bay Area. I didn't remember ever flying into Sacramento before until I saw this at Baggage Claim and it reminded me I had flown there for work a while ago!

Pretty ornaments!

[305/365] Game of Scrabble, Fremont, California, USA

I love Scrabble and this was a good game! It's been a while since I've actually played on the board and not online. Kind of feels weird now to not have a dictionary to check words unless someone challenges. Reminds me of the games of Scrabble with my cousins when we were younger. :)

[304/365] Lucky Strikes at L.A. Live, Downtown, Los Angeles, California, USA

Holiday party for work - got to spend a day bowling and having lunch as I bowled!

[300/365] Merry Christmas!, Self-Portrait, Rodeo Drive Ornament, Beverly Hills, California, USA

The holidays are here and 2010 is ending in a few days! It's this time of the year that I reflect on the past year and think about all the friends & family that have been a part of my life. Thank you for the memories! :)

On a side note, this is photo number 300 on my blog...meaning i need 65 more in about 6 days until I can finish up this 365 project. O_o I'm still going to try this week, but we'll see!

Merry Christmas, friends!!! Happy holidays!

[299/365] Fireworks Show, Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

Spectacular fireworks as we sat and watched on the open grass area.

[298/365] Crossing the Street, San Francisco, California, USA

A great game, a great tribute to John Wooden. I've gone to the Wooden Classic for the past 5 years, and each and every time, with the exception of this year, John Wooden was there watching.

[289/365] Reading Books, Ready to Learn Program, 49th Street Elementary, Los Angeles, California, USA

Every now and then, I volunteer at a weekend reading program where we read along with 1st grade kids from the school. So nice to be able to actually work with the kids instead of being behind the scenes coordinating. Thank you, Buddy, for introducing me to the program. :)

[288/365] Bear, Christmas, Fremont, California, USA

The holidays are here!

[287/365] Morning on the Lake, Lake Tahoe, California, USA

What a breathtaking view! Totally worth the early morning wake-up and freezing cold temperatures. I can't believe New Years in Tahoe was almost a year ago. Where has the time gone?

[286/365] Fortune, Thai Boom Restaurant, Los Angeles, California, USA

I usually don't eat fortune cookies, and if I don't eat it, I don't feel right claiming it as my fortune. This time though, I ate a few bites of it and read my fortune. This was a few weeks ago - what pleasant surprise is in store for me?

[285/365] Moscato d'Asti Wine, Los Angeles, California, USA

We recently celebrated Connie's birthday with some wine I gave to her 3 or 4 years ago! Moscato d'asti dessert wine. It's about TIME.

[284/365] Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California, USA

A Bay Area icon. Ever wondered why the bridge is painted "International Orange" (that's the official color name) and not gold? It is actually referring to the Golden Gate Strait - entrance to the San Francisco Bay from the Pacific Ocean.

[283/365] Wall Mural, Chelsea Market, Manhattan, New York, New York, USA

A great mural on a red brick wall.

[282/365] Lion & Giraffe Stuffed Animals, Chelsea Market, Manhattan, New York, New York, USA

[280/365] Artwork, Flutesong Red, Marilyn Monroe & James Dean, Planet Hollywood Towers, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Always nice to be upgraded to a VIP suite...for free!

Loved the art in the room! Merely an artist rendering of two icons together makes for a great print. Does anyone know where I can find a print of this?

[279/365] Salt Ramen, Santouka, Mitsuwa Market, Los Angeles, California, USA

Mmmm... ramen at one of my favorite places to get ramen in Los Angeles!

[278/365] Signs of Life, White Sands National Monument, White Sands, New Mexico, USA

Signs of life in the mostly barren White Sands park.
