Road to the Tidepools, Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego, California, USA

It's been a while! I've been bad about this daily photo thing! I think I'm not going to go for project 365 this year, but I definitely want to put up photos frequently. We'll see how that goes...

"There is always hope" Print, Los Angeles, California, USA

I bought this print at the Melrose Trading Post. It is a photo of artwork by Banksy, a British street artist that has work all over the world. This street art was originally in South Bank London, UK.

More from the Melrose Trading Post...

Kimora, Melrose Trading Post, Los Angeles, California, USA

How cute! Kimora was tired as we were walking out of the market.  We spent a nice sunny day in LA at the Melrose Trading Post at Fairfax and Melrose. Full of vendors with all kinds of art, jewelry, clothes, vintage furniture, as well as a food court with crepes, tamales and empanadas, it was a great day to spend a Sunday outdoors.

Tidepools, Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego, California, USA

We got there just as it was low tide and the tidepools!

Beach, Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego, California, USA

Beautiful Sunday in San Diego. January days in Southern California - in the 70's...amazing. I love weekend trips!

[10/365] Magenta, Liv Nightclub, Miami, Florida, USA

Good times.

[9/365] Kodak Display, NYC Miniature Model, Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

In the Kodak section, there were lots of things to do and look at. We even got a 3D photo taken! Anyway, this was part of the display - I think they had cameras you could test out here...

[8/365] Everyday Life Photo Display, Microsoft, Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Microsoft had a plethora of products on display, mostly showing off their software on other company's products. Throughout their display, they had photo walls showcasing photography of everyday life. Very sleek.

[7/365] LG Opening Display, Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

I've been in awe of CES (Consumer Electronics Show) for a while now, and this year, I finally made it there! I love techonology and new gadgets...and so I was in some kind of techie heaven. :P When we first entered the Central Hall, we were greeted with the very elaborate LG display, featuring tons of TVs, all with coordinating displays and audio. What a great start to the day!

[6/365] Turtle, Chelsea Market, Manhattan, New York, New York, USA

Cute turtle. :)

[5/365] Clock & Clothes, Anthropologie, Santa Monica, California, USA

Tick tock tick tock. No time to waste - there's no turning back time!

[4/365] Vineyards, Napa Valley, Calistoga, California, USA

Saw this view just outside the Castello di Amorosa winery.

[3/365] Going Away, Coming Home, Oakland Airport, Oakland, California, USA

I've flown in and out of Oakland Airport SO many times, especially this year. I've seen this on display for a while now, and everytime I see it as I'm walking towards baggage claim, I think about how "Going away, coming home" is representative of my journey. Going away to LA and coming home to the Bay Area...

[2/365] Wine from the Barrel, Castello di Amorosa, Napa Valley, Calistoga, California, USA

Ooops...just the third day in the year and I already missed yesterday. It was an honest mistake...just forgot to! Anyway, it's nice to go wine tasting and try it straight from the barrel. Enjoyed the wines at the castle!
