Wat Buddhanusorn, Fremont, California, USA

It was a lovely Sunday in the Bay Area and I was able to visit this temple for the first time! On Sundays, they have vendors in the courtyard selling everything from Thai tea to BBQ meat to curries to Pad Thai. Everything I tried was delicious! Overall, great experience!

[307/365] Game of Boggle, Fremont, California, USA

So much fun! I love word games.

Soy. Toys. Rat. Bar. Sit.

Couldn't help it...

[306/365] Ornaments, Fremont, California, USA

Pretty ornaments!

[305/365] Game of Scrabble, Fremont, California, USA

I love Scrabble and this was a good game! It's been a while since I've actually played on the board and not online. Kind of feels weird now to not have a dictionary to check words unless someone challenges. Reminds me of the games of Scrabble with my cousins when we were younger. :)

The holidays are here!

[255/365] Piano Keys, Fremont, California, USA

I played piano for a number of years...too bad I'm still not very good. My brother is much better at it. Anyway, I still love playing what I know of Fur Elise. Haha, the only song I can play by heart.

[254/365] Game of Uno, Fremont, California, USA

Uno reminds me of childhood family parties! We played again this year on Thanksgiving. Draw four, blue 6, draw two, skip, reverse, UNO!

[252/365] Honey Baked Ham, Thanksgiving Dinner, Fremont, California, USA

So, who's hungry? I am now that I look at this photo! This was another photo from Thanksgiving day dinner. Obviously.

[251/365] Thanksgiving Dinner, Fremont, California, USA

It has been a few years since I've been home for Thanksgiving. This year, I went over to my uncle's house and my family had a nice dinner with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and another table of Vietnamese food: banh cuon, fried fish, etc. It was a good mix and I was definitely full!

Hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful (as with any other day in the year) for all my family and my friends, old and new. Holidays are such a fun time of the year.

Thank you for reading my blog!! Only 114 more posts to finish up my 365 for the year. By end of 2010. 33 more days. Oh dear... :P

[126/365] Archie, Fremont, California, USA

I don't know when it happened, but our family has so many dogs now! Well, started from zero to two to six. Some of them were at the Mother's Day brunch. Meet Archie, Amanda's dog. So cute!

Bear Under the Christmas Tree, Fremont, California, USA

As promised (to my cousins), it's the photo of the bear resting under the Christmas tree. Doesn't it make you want to nap, too? Great time at home with the family! :)

Balloon Group Portrait, Graduation Party, Fremont, California, USA

A self (group)-portrait of sorts, our excitement clearly showed in the reflection on the balloon we had. This was a fun picture and after many takes, we got a variety of different poses and angles. Surrounded by all the other colored, solid balloons, this mylar balloon certainly stood out. Good times!

Food at the Graduation Party, Fremont, California, USA

A family graduation party would not be complete without food, food and more food! Trays of mostly Vietnamese/Chinese food like fried shrimp balls, shrimp and tofu stir fry, pork slices, egg rolls and rice paper wrapped ground pork, among many more items filled the tables we set up for food. Guests (including myself) came back for seconds and thirds as the night went by. Delicious!!
